Suggestions for successful results:
1. A CD-R with audio files at high resolution (more than 16bit) is preferred to regular audio CD.
2. Please submit first generation source material (not a copy of a copy).
3. If you send a premastered title, do NOT maximize or finalize it. i.e. Do not make it “very loud”. This is done at the end of the mastering process.
4. It is suggested to include a premastered version with your idea of how it should sound, for our orientation. This gives us the option to compare and eventually choose between which version to master.
5. Strongly compressed or limited recordings make it hard for any further dynamic processing!
6. Avoid delivering 48Khz files as conversion to the audio CD format (44.1Khz) results in loss of quality.
7. Always keep a copy of your original in your archives!
8. Audio samples from your music collection are welcome and ease communication about your idea of how your music should sound.
